MILAN (AP) — Marie-Philip Poulin of Canada broke the Olympic record for goals in women's hockey, scoring twice in a semifinal against Switzerland at the Milan Cortina Games on Monday to reach 20 for her career.

MILAN, Feb 16 (Reuters) - Canada and the United States will play out another chapter in their long-standing rivalry after setting up the almost inevitable Olympic women's ice hockey final on Monday, but this time the Americans have flipped the script and tilted the ice in their favour.
Canada's Megan Oldham beat top favourite Eileen Gu of China to win gold in the women's freestyle skiing big air on Monday at the Milan/Cortina Winter Games. Oldham fell in her final run but that didn't matter as she already had gold secured when she took the piste for her final jump after none of the competitors were able to beat her score.
Canada's Lia Pereira and Trennt Michaud finish in eighth position of pairs figure skating at Milano-Cortina 2026 in their first Olympic Games, while Deanna Stellato-Dudek and Maxime Deschamps battled back for 11th.
LIVIGNO, Italy (AP) — Defending Olympic champion Eileen Gu took silver in freeski big air at the Milan Cortina Games as Canada’s Megan Oldham won the gold medal on Monday night. Oldham topped the 10-woman final with a combined score of 180.
Filip Chlapik, Ottawa's 2015 second-round draft pick, is Czechia's second-leading scorer with two goals and an assist. They also have forward Dominik Kubalik, one of the players acquired from Detroit in the Alex DeBrincat trade. Kubalik was ineffective in his one season in Ottawa and hasn't done much yet in his two games.
